1. Agreeing to these terms
By using HoneDraft at honedraft.com (“HoneDraft”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use HoneDraft.
Who can use HoneDraft. You must be at least 16 years old. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you, and they are responsible for any purchase. If you use HoneDraft for an organization, you confirm you can agree to these terms on its behalf.

2. What HoneDraft does and your account
HoneDraft helps you write, score and tailor your resume from information you give us, using AI. It rephrases, reorders and highlights what you tell us. It does not invent experience.
- Your account. You sign in with your username and password. Keep them to yourself: a plan is for one person, and we may ask you to confirm a new device by email. You're responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us at support@honedraft.com if you think someone else has used it.
- Where your work is saved. Resumes are saved to your account. Work you do before creating an account stays only in that browser tab and is lost when you close it. Keep copies of anything important.
- One person, real details. Accounts are for people, not bots or automated sign-ups. Use a working email address so we can reach you about your plan.
3. Plans, payment and renewal
HoneDraft has one free plan and two paid plans. Both paid plans start with a free trial: 7 days on Monthly and 3 days on Weekly. What each includes is listed on our pricing page.

- Who takes payment. Payments are processed by Whop. Whop's secure payment form appears inside HoneDraft's checkout, and Whop's own terms also apply. The charge appears on your card statement as WHOP*HONEDRAFT.
- Free trial. The first time you start Weekly or Monthly, you get a free trial: 7 days on Monthly or 3 days on Weekly. We ask for a payment method but charge $0.00 that day. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, we charge the plan's price when it ends: $9 for Weekly or $19 for Monthly, plus any tax. We email you right after you start and again the day before the trial ends. One free trial per person.
- Renewal. By starting Weekly or Monthly, you agree that we charge your payment method the plan's price, plus any tax, when your trial ends and then every 7 days (Weekly) or every 30 days (Monthly) until you cancel. Right after you subscribe, we email you these terms and how to cancel. We also email you before each renewal with the amount and date: 2 days before for Weekly and 3 days before for Monthly.
- Taxes. Sales tax may be added where the law requires it.
- Price changes. We'll email you between 5 business days and 30 days before a new price applies to your plan. If you're charged a higher price, you can cancel within 14 days of that charge and get a refund for the unused part.
4. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel a free trial or a paid plan at any time in one click from your Account page. You can also email support@honedraft.com and we'll cancel it for you.
- Cancelling during a free trial. You won't be charged. You keep paid features until the trial ends, then your account moves to the Free plan.
- After you cancel. Your plan stops renewing. You keep paid features until the end of the 7 or 30 days you've paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan.
- Refunds. The free trial is the way to try HoneDraft before you pay, so payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If something went wrong, such as a charge you didn't expect or a feature that didn't work, email support@honedraft.com or use the contact form and we'll look at it case by case. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Whop.
- Access after a refund. Paid features end as soon as a payment is refunded.
- Please contact us first. If something about a charge looks wrong, email us before contacting your bank. We reply within 1 business day and can usually fix it faster than a dispute can. This doesn't limit your right to dispute a charge with your bank.
5. Your content
Your resume is yours. That includes what you type or upload, the job descriptions you paste, and the rewrites HoneDraft makes from them. Use it however you like.
- What you let us do. You give us permission to store, process and show your content only to run HoneDraft for you and to fix problems. We don't sell your content.
- AI providers. To write suggestions, we send the text needed to AI providers (currently OpenAI, with Anthropic as a backup). They process it for us, don't use it to train their models, and may keep it for a limited time to prevent abuse. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
- Only share what you're allowed to. Only add content you have the right to use. Get permission before adding other people's contact details, such as references.
- Deleting your data. You can delete your resumes, or your whole account, at any time from your Account page. For anything we keep on our servers, email support@honedraft.com and we'll delete it within 30 days. We keep payment records for as long as the law requires.
- Our part. HoneDraft's software, design, templates and name belong to us. You can use our templates for your own resume, but not copy them for another product or service.
6. AI suggestions and the Resume score
HoneDraft's suggestions are a starting point. You decide what goes on your resume.
- Check everything. AI can get things wrong, miss context or word things badly. Read every suggestion before you accept it, and fill in any [placeholders] with real facts.
- Keep it true. You're responsible for making sure your resume is accurate. Don't use HoneDraft to claim jobs, degrees, skills or results you don't have.
- The score is our own measure. The Resume score and Match score use HoneDraft's own rubric. They don't predict how any employer, recruiter or hiring system will rate your resume.
- No job guarantee. HoneDraft can help you present your experience well. We can't promise interviews, offers or any other result.
7. Acceptable use
Use HoneDraft for your own job search, or to help someone with theirs with their permission. Please don't:
- create fake credentials or impersonate anyone;
- upload anything illegal, harmful, or that you don't have the right to share;
- scrape, copy, resell or rebuild HoneDraft or its outputs as a competing service;
- use bots or scripts to create accounts or send large numbers of requests;
- try to get around plan limits, payment or security, or disrupt the service for others;
- abuse, threaten or harass our team or other people.
8. Changes to HoneDraft, suspension and closing accounts
- We keep improving. We may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something central to a paid plan you're on, we'll tell you first and you can cancel for a refund of the unused part.
- Availability. We work to keep HoneDraft running, but it may sometimes be slow, down for maintenance, or have bugs. Not every reported bug will be fixed right away.
- If you break these terms. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 7 or puts HoneDraft or other people at risk. Where it's safe to, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. If we close an account without a good reason under these terms, we'll refund the unused part of any paid plan.
- If HoneDraft closes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice to download your work and refund the unused part of any paid plan.
9. Disclaimers and limits on our liability
Nothing in this section takes away rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
- As is. To the extent the law allows, HoneDraft is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will meet your needs or be error-free.
- Limit on liability. To the extent the law allows, HoneDraft isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost job opportunities, lost income or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.
- Your responsibility. If you break these terms or the law while using HoneDraft, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim.
10. Changes to these terms, law and contact
- Changes. If we make an important change to these terms, we'll email paying customers between 5 business days and 30 days before it takes effect. Smaller changes, like fixing wording, take effect when we post them with a new effective date. If you keep using HoneDraft after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Richmond County (Staten Island), New York. You can also bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
